Services

Participant services are the backbone of Amity. Years of direct, hands-on experience working alongside NDIS participants has shaped everything Amity now offers through consultation, training, and clinical supervision.

Behaviour support that sees the whole person.

Direct participant work means showing up in people's homes and lives.

Understanding not just the behaviour, but the physical, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs behind it. Every assessment, every plan, every strategy is built around the person at the centre of it, not the behaviour itself.

Amity is accepting new intensive support clients in 2027.

Specialist Behaviour Support

A graphic of a flock of birds flying.

Working directly with NDIS participants across the lifespan, Amity provides specialist behaviour support for individuals with behaviour support funding allocated within their plan. Rooted in a holistic, neuro-affirming approach, support is built around the whole person, not just the behaviour.

Please note: Amity is unable to take on anymore Specialist Behaviour Support Clients.

Tele Positive Behaviour Support

For NDIS participants in rural or remote areas, or where access to in-person support is limited, Amity offers TelePBS. Behaviour support delivered remotely via videoconferencing, providing timely, quality support without the barriers of location and ensuring participants can access specialist behaviour support regardless of where they live.

Please note: This service will be available in 2027 across Australia. Register your interest here.

Intensive Support

Amity is hitting the road in 2027, bringing intensive Positive Behaviour Support to rural families who are waiting for a local PBS practitioner. This service provides risk mitigation strategies and safety planning to support families through the gap, until ongoing support with a practitioner closer to home becomes available.

Baseline Behaviour Assessment & Report

For NDIS participants who don't yet have behaviour support funding, Amity can complete a comprehensive baseline assessment and report to advocate for behaviour suppoert funding. The report outlines behaviours of concern, associated risks, and a clear recommendation for behaviour support funding to be added to the plan if the assessment concludes there is a need.

Please note: Amity is unable to take on anymore Baseline Behaviour Assessment & Report Clients.

What changes when behaviour is truly understood.

Families find relief. Participants feel seen. The people around them feel equipped.

Specialist behaviour support goes beyond reducing incidents. It improves quality of life for everyone involved, addressing the needs behind the behaviour rather than the behaviour itself.

I was struggling, my daughter was struggling and it had been hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. That was 7 years ago and before we started working with the amazing Candice. I can't express enough how her rapport with my daughter and her knowledge was a breath of fresh air. Candice listens, understands and goes above and beyond to help. My daughter has made amazing progress in leaps and bounds with Candice’s professional service.
We still work with Candice all these years later and would highly recommend her.
